Vodka makes us talk more better

If you are looking for an excuse to drink at breakfast, I just found one: a recent study, drinking vodka enchances the association of words and verbal creativity. Pass me the bottle!

People who drank vodka, but not those who are drunk, have a more intuitive face a difficulty to associatewords. The experiment was conducted in the University of Illinois Chicago, shows that individuals have a more sober deliberative when it comes to word association. So, they are slower.
In this study, half the participants drank vodka until the legal limit of 0.08% alcohol in the blood in the United States. The other half was in the water. Then they were shown a series of puzzles and three words they had to find a word capable of binding the 3 words together. On average, vodka drinkers met in 11.4 seconds and 15.4 seconds put sober.

That will give weight to artists who are more creative when they are disinhibited by alcohol. Now I knowwhat I have to do to write the articles in this blog. I'll be able to pay my new tool.

Champagne shower and cie...

Today, i was cleaning my fridge and WHATTTTTTTTT???????? I was forgetting one fabulous thing: one Bottle of Jacquesson....
I was wondering why I still have a Champagne's bottle on my fridge? And I found an answer.. She was here since the new year event...

So I invite a group of friend to celebrate my bottle but one point giving me some problem... I can find my corkscrew...

I am ready to sacrifice myself and drink several bottles of champagne in my quest to find other tools to open a good bottle. Even on a Sunday night. Especially on a Sunday night.
With a glass it's done and now let's try with an iron!
An iron to open a bottle of champagne seems old-fashioned, why not try some tools more trendy like an Ipad!
I think Steve Jobs didn't  expect this use. Try it carefully!

So let's focus on the Jacquesson Champagne!!

Jacquesson is a Champagne house, which set up the respect of the soil and the art of the blend. So the taste of the Non-vintage brut champagne, change every year according to the harvest. They keep a style and thay adjust it according to the harvest and not the opposite. That is why every new harvest gives birth to a new brut champagne. And so the 2007 harvest gave birth to the Vintage 735 like the 2006 harvest had engendered the vintage 734.

After the tasting of clear wines, the blend of the Vintage 735 is chosen, it will consist of 47 % of Chardonnay (slightly less than the vintage 734), 33 % of pinot noir and 20 % of pinot miller. The 2007 harvest is completed by 22 % of the 2006 harvest and 6 % of the 2005 harvest.

It is a vintage which offers a beautiful bouquet, with fruits and an intense maturity, and then which evolves in a greedy touch. In mouth, the attack is very elegant, on the 4 years of ageing in cellar having rounded off the wine. Then on the palate, the fine and elegant texture of the 735 vintage is leads with a beautiful structure and especially a good balance. The freshness is present and leaves the main roles with the expressiveness and the power. The Vintage 735 was produced in 332.600 bottles, 14.470 jeroboams and 416 magnums.

Price for one bottle : around 30 euros

Chateau Rauzan-Ségla by Karl Lagerfeld!

Damn!!! Where are my Chanel Shoes???
I can hanging out if I don't have this one... Who can going out without Chanel and it's the same for drinking...

If you are a particular fan of the Chanel Brand; you should know its designer Karl Lagerfeld decided to not only give his signature to clothes and sunglasses. This year he decided to sign a Margaux appellation Grand Crus Classé wine : Chateau Rauzan-Ségla which celebrate its 35th anniversary.

This collaboration is not suprising when we know that the vineyard is owned by the Chanel House for several years.

K.Lagerfeld calls this action a "one-off, a one time only".
He made a crazy bet, creating a modern Label for the vintage 2009.
He has designed a colorful label, representing the facade of the Chateau which was built in 1904. An audacious and modern sketch because the last label modification was in 2004.

The Chateau will sell 120 000 botlles of this limited collection with a price around 180€.
More than a bottle of wine, the 2009 vintage, sign Karl Lagerfeld is a true collector's item.

This vintage : a Fashion Design Wine.

So do you want one?

Meteorite wine

Last night, a little sad I drank a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon. The sky was clear, he sparkled with thousands of stars. I wasted an idea that would confuse the astronomy and wine?

The mix between space and wine led to the creation of "Meteorito", which already gives us a concrete evidence. Meteorito is simply a label for a bottle of wine aged in barrels and flavored with the meteorite. Go back a little story to understand the in and out.

So here we are in Chile which is Cachapoal ValleyIt is precisely here located the vineyard of Ian Hutchinson producer of Cabernet Sauvignon. In addition to his work as a winemaker, this is English passion for astronomy, he also launched his own observatory in 2007 "centro astronomico Tagua Tagua".

Hutchinson Field is known for hosting many space debris, man has found a good idea to age your wine with these pieces from outer space. Thus the Spacewine is born!

The meteorite that marine currently in Chilean barrels would hit Earth 6,000 years ago and it would come from the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter. It measures still 7.62 inches in diameter and give the wine taste "more alive". It will believe the word of the producer, since he believes to market its drink, it has not yet done.

Moreover, this meteorite is not his, he did for the role of the study. Technically it is owned by an American collector who seems to have clearly in mind their most valuable space rock quietly immersed in a barrel of red wine for 12 months.

So now, astronomy buffs have their very own brand of wine. "When you drink this wine, you are drinking elements from the birth of the solar system," Hutchinson said, adding that he wanted "to give everybody the opportunity to touch something from space: the very history of the solar system, and feel it via a grand wine."

For us it is finally the opportunity to taste the elixir semi-alien head in the stars.

To a Dead Uncle

Today, I want to speak about about wine and the love that we can bring it.

I put this song of Georges Brassens - Le vin for my uncle dead around two years now. This uncle was for me one of my mentor in the world of wine.

Indeed, my uncle was a great lover of life and all the good things of life such as Georges Brassens. And like him, he always opened fantastics bottles of wine to share this love of drinking extraordinary aromas of this lastest finds. That was a way of sharing this love of this fine beverage.

Like we know each other, Wine is always a drink for sharing love and magic and it is considered by everyone like that.
Is such a great and old beverage that you heard about it on the Bible or in the legends of Greek gods.

This love is today part of our life. We open a great bottle of wine for each moment we want to say  " I love you " to somebody: during a romantic diner, a wedding, a birthday party...

Uncle, we miss you but you still stay on our heart when we open a great bottle of this extraordinary beverage.
